I have the same regret. Sort of. Well I started HTML stuff back in the day because I was curious. That kept me alive when the world of print started dying and everything moved to web. The toughest part is keeping up with all of the new technologies and figuring out which ones to adopt and which to leave alone.

You should look into MooTools if you haven't already. I find the framework very easy to work with and learn. Makes Javascript a little more fun.

I for one am happy that Sarah Palin is nowhere near Washington. Obama was/is the right man for the job, but he needs to grow a pair and stop placating wall street and big business.

They got beat when they went to bat, remember? The better question is “where is String Cheese?” When Pearl Jam lost that case the whole world heard about it. When SCI won, it didn't get nearly the publicity. Where is the guy I voted for, actually?

Johnny, you say “I might as well have voted for Palin”. Remember when I posted on the Earthboard that Obama was just another professional politician, no better than Hillary or McCain. How a politician when campaigning is like a young man courting a girl who says, “Stick with me, baby, and I'll give you the world”, only to find a few years later he's a beer-bellied couch potato who belches and farts and he scratches his ass. Everyone hated me for doubting their new-found hero. Barak Obama: Change you were deceived to believe in. It's business as usual.
