Here they are =>

I knew they were out there somewhere. Their twist is that they're writing all the tools themselves. They don't have all their cards down on the table, but it seems like they're ultimately after some kind of easy hosted thing.

I still think that Drupal is a better way to go. In fact, I think any open source movement that can piggyback on the conventions and success of another is already that much further up the ladder. These guys appear to have a track record, though. Who knows. Maybe some of their tools can be adapted.

Just came across bandcamp.com

Just came across bandcamp.com and thought you might want to take a look at it. While it isn't open source, it does have some features I'd love to see in an open source band platform like you've been discussing.

One thing I've found useful in trying to figure out what people want in a web service is to find critiques and reviews of the competition to see what they lack or do/don't do right. Just a thought.

I need to look into CASH

I need to look into CASH Music more, but on the surface it's very appealing. Having Calexico is nice too. Wanting to become the WordPress of the Music Industry is a tall order to follow. I think we need to really focus on EASY.
